We can’t control the wind, but we can always adjust the sails! Please check back closer to the wedding week in case plans shift.

Last Sail Before the Veil — Whale Watching Catamaran

Friday, January 5th at 3:30pm (sail starts at 4pm, returning to dock around 6:15pm)

Ma’alaea Harbor*
11 Ma’alaea Harbor Rd, Wailuku, HI 96793

*Departing from Slip #99 — across from the Ma’alaea General Store (shops) side of the harbor.

Seas the day! We have arranged a 2-hour private charter on a Trilogy catamaran, including an open bar with premium cocktails, plated appetizers, and sunset viewing. January is prime whale season, and it’s truly a magical experience to see them up close as they breach around the boat.

___

Dress code: A chance to wear something fun and colorful, Hawaiian-themed, or whatever floats your boat! Bring sunglasses and a light jacket or sweater, as it may get chilly when the sun sets. View our Pinterest outfit board to get inspired! Shoes will not be worn on board.

Parking: $1 per hour — scan the QR code at the harbor to enter your license plate number and pay.

Price: Adults $125 pp, children $90

Please make sure to sign the waiver before checking in.

Let’s Get Maui’d!

Saturday, January 6th from 3-10pm

Transportation (for those who have RSVP’d) departs from Wailea Beach Resort at 2pm. If you are driving yourself, please allow time in case of traffic as it is a one-lane road.

Olowalu Plantation House
810 Olowalu Village Rd, Lahaina, HI 96761

Our wedding reception and ceremony will take place at the historic Olowalu Plantation House, a charming oceanfront setting offering breathtaking views for sunset and whale watching. With the magnificent West Maui Mountains on one side and the coconut trees and Pacific Ocean on the other, you will be transported back in time and grounded in old Hawaii. When night falls, we will dance under the moonlight as lights twinkle upon the sea.

___

Dress code: Cocktail attire*

*The ceremony and reception will be on a grass lawn and a brick patio. Wearing sandals instead of flip-flops or high heels will allow you to dance under the stars comfortably!

**A dress, suit, formal romper… feel free to include prints, avoiding anything too loud or all-white. If you wear a beachy dress, consider it in either tea-length or maxi to avoid looking overly casual.

***The day will likely be sunny and warm, but we suggest bringing a shawl in case the evening gets chilly.

****Don’t forget your sunglasses!
